In 2019, the RepRefRed Society was commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research to establish the Austrian 3R Center (A3RC).
The purpose of the A3RC is to create a national point of contact as well as a national knowledge platform for the 3Rs and related topics. The goal of the A3RC as well as the RepRefRed Society is to provide balanced information about all the 3Rs and not to focus on a specific R. Beside the general knowledge transfer the A3RC yearly coordinates its focus topics in cooperation with its funding source, the Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Research.
